PrimaryPlus Welcomes Dr. James W. Morris to its Medical Family

(January 26, 2012)  PrimaryPlus, a federally qualified health center, which is located at 1551 Augusta-Chatham Rd. in Augusta, KY, is happy to announce the newest addition to its medical family...James W. Morris, MD.  Dr. Morris will be joining the team of Steve Neus, MD; Harold Markesbery, MD; Tom Meyers, MD; Denise Gore, APRN; Christine Blum, APRN and women’s health nurse practitioner, Dana Tucker, APRN.   

For over 40 years, Dr. Morris has been practicing family medicine.  He is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and then continued to advance his medical knowledge with an internship at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton, OH.  From there, Dr. Morris opened his own private practice in Burkesville, KY (located in the southern part of the state). Since 1978, Dr. Morris has operated a private medical clinic in Atlanta, Texas.  Dr. Morris and his wife, Cora, are so happy to be back in the state of Kentucky and are loving the Bracken County area and its people—they feel right at home.      

Dr. Morris joins PrimaryPlus as a board certified family practice physician.  He welcomes new patients of all age ranges and looks forward to serving PrimaryPlus’ mission of quality, advanced, affordable healthcare.
