PrimaryPlus Welcomes Wade M. Rankin, DO to its Medical Family

(January 11, 2010)  PrimaryPlus, located at 927 Kenton Station Drive is thrilled to welcome its newest member to its medical family, Ellen K. Kumler, MD.  Dr. Kumler joins PrimaryPlus as a board certified pediatrician.  The addition of a pediatrician to their staff builds on their founding mission of quality, advanced, affordable healthcare.  Besides her PrimaryPlus-Maysville schedule, Dr. Kumler will also see patients on Wednesday’s at PrimaryPlus-Vanceburg.   

For over 18 years, Dr. Ellen Kumler has been practicing medicine and brings her experience, knowledge and compassion to share with the Buffalo Trace region.  She attended the Ohio State University for her undergraduate courses and then proceeded to attend medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  Her internship in pediatrics was completed at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA and then she extended her studies with a residency at Columbus Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH.  In between these schooling experiences, she also trained to be a flight surgeon at the Naval Aviation and Operational Medical Institute in Pensacola, FL (she utilized this training 3 years in both Japan and for the Pentagon in Washington, DC).  Dr. Kumler’s diverse, yet very impressive resume showcases her passion for healing and on top of all her duties, she is also a mom to three lovely children.  She is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Medical Association.
