Primary Plus Welcomes Abe Keating APRN

(January 22, 2008)  PrimaryPlus, formerly Maysville OB/GYN/Family Health Center, is proud to announce the addition of nurse practitioner, Abram “Abe” Keating, APRN to their family health office.  The new addition comes as the non-profit medical organization prepares for the opening of its new two-story, 35,000 square foot facility which will house family health, OB/GYN care, and a pharmacy. 

Abe Keating, APRN joins PrimaryPlus with a very impressive resume and a familiarity with Maysville since being part of the community for over 14 years.  He completed his Bachelors in Nursing at Berea College in Berea, KY and later received his Masters in Nursing and Masters in Public Health from the University of Kentucky.  Also included in his continuing education are many specialty licensures and certifications including a focus on critical and cardiac care.  Nurse Practitioner Keating also shares his experience and knowledge by serving as an assistant professor at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, KY, and previously taught with the University of Kentucky.   

PrimaryPlus’ new building which will open mid-March, located at 927 Kenton Station Dr., will provide complete care for the entire family from infants to elders, plus care for the needs of growing families with complete OB/GYN care.  Currently PrimaryPlus-OB/GYN (formerly Maysville OB/GYN) is located on the third floor of the hospital and PrimaryPlus-Family Health is located in Suite 6 across from the hospital.  With a growing building comes a growing medical staff including Abe Keating, APRN who is now accepting patients, PLUS the addition of two other family health physicians Dr. Steve Neus joining the staff in mid-February and Dr. Nancy Guttman who will begin in March.  These new medical providers will join the likes of family health staff Dr. Jessica Bocook and Dr. Nathan Elliott; plus the OB/GYN staff of Dr. Donald Wilson, Dr. David Doty, Dr. Laura Shower, Dr. Steve Meese, Dr. Ken Payne, Dr. Susan Hagan, and Melissa Redmond, APRN.
